Our team

João Carneiro holds an M.Sc from PUC-Rio and a Ph.D from the Technische Universität München (Germany) and a Post-Doctorate from PUC-Rio in physics-based computational simulations of fluid flows. He has 15 years of experience leading and executing R&D and consultancy projects in Oil & Gas production and related topics. João has been the Technical Lead and Manager of Flow Technology for SINTEF in Brazil and is currently the Chief Scientist and Managing Partner at ISDB FlowTech. João is also the founder and managing partner of the spin-off company HAI (www.hybridai.com.br)

Alessandra has a degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Project Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). She has 8 years of experience in R&D projects with public and private entities. Alessandra is currently Administrative Coordinator at ISDB FlowTech, working at the Financial management and budget execution control of all the Institute’s projects.

João Victor holds a B.Eng and M.Sc in chemical engineering and safety engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He is currently a doctoral candidate in the Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Process from UFRJ. He has 15 years of experience in computational fluid dynamics, especially on multiphase flows, process safety, accident analysis, sensor optimization, and equipment optimization. João Victor is currently a Research & Development engineer at ISDB FlowTech, where he works with R&D and consultancy projects for Oil & Gas applications.

Matheus has a B.Sc degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and has worked on projects related to software development of various products at ISDB FlowTech. He is currently attending a M.Sc degree course at the Systems and Computer Engineering Program of UFRJ in the development of machine learning models, with application to multiphase flows in pipes. Matheus is also a Data Scientist of the spin-off company HAI (www.hybridai.com.br)

Felipe has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has been working in Information Technology for over 10 years. He has extensive knowledge in Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Cloud, due to having worked on large projects in various sectors. Within this knowledge we can highlight, Ethical Hacker, ITIL v4, HPC, Environment Administration and Network Certifications. Because he has knowledge in IT and Mechanical Engineering, he is able to merge knowledge, delivering a work more directed to the ISDB and HAI performances. And in his free time, he likes to work as a data engineer taking telemetry readings of race cars.

Marcello studied Computer Science with extensive experience in the PMO of a Telecom company in São Paulo/BR for almost 10 years, working with the planning, controlling and monitoring of projects with PMP certification since 2014. In 2020, he made the career transition to the Software Development area, acquiring experience in Python/Django, MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB (NoSQL), HTML/Bootstrap5/jQuery, WebScrap (Python Selenium/BeautifulSoup), FacebookAds/Hotmart /Strava API integrations and mainly DevOps, applying the culture in an internet provider company implementing CI/CD, using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Sentry, working with docker containers, containerized development, pipeline development considering unit tests, software quality, automatic deployments. Always working to apply his knowledge in ISDB/HAI projects and learning more every day!

João Pedro holds an M.Sc and is currently attending a D.Sc in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The research themes refer to coupling approaches of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Population Balance Model in the multiphase modeling of dispersed systems separators. He has experience also in turbulence modeling applied to industrial process equipment. As a Research & Development engineer at ISDB, he works on projects involving CFD simulations, model development and Machine Learning applications in the Oil & Gas field.

Eng. Dr. Christiano Garcia da Silva Santim received his B.Sc degree in Chemical Engineering from USP, his M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from UNICAMP and Ph.D degree in Mechanical Engineering also from UNICAMP with expertise in the thermal & fluids and O&G areas working with flow assurance through two-phase flows (gas-liquid) and three phase flows (liquid-liquid-gas) modelling and analysis. Nowadays works on solving problems inherent to the O&G industry as R&D Engineer and technical consultant.

Tatiane holds an MSc in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and has 7 years of experience in CFD simulations using Ansys and OpenFOAM. She is currently working as a Research and Development Engineer on projects at ISDB Flowtech focused on the following areas: multiphase flow, flow assurance, gas dispersion, and sensor optimization.

Petroleum engineer with an M.Sc. in Energy Engineering, currently pursuing a D.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on fluid dynamics. At ISDB, he focuses on projects related to modeling and simulating inorganic scaling, corrosion, and wax deposition. Additionally, he has expertise in applying CFD to optimize well completion valves.

Chemical Engineer with experience in industrial process simulation, specialized in the use of softwares such as Aspen Plus and Aspen Hysys , standing out in preparation of flowcharts, mass and energy balances, analysis of thermodynamic parameters and risk analysis reports, focusing on increasing energy efficiency and optimizing processes.

Livia has a degree in Computer Engineering from PUC-Rio. She has extensive experience in web development using Java, AngularJS, JavaScript, and Python.  She has also a solid background in developing REST APIs and working with databases such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.

Daniel has a degree in Systems Analyst from Estacio-RJ. Postgraduate degree in app development, web development and digital marketing. Passionate about programming and the versatility of the web world.

He has experience in web development using html, css, bootstrap, tailwind, javascript, jquery and nextjs.

Always looking to develop your skills, he enjoys creative works where can challenge your knowledge. He believes that the key to good teamwork is communication.

Guilherme is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management at IBMR and is acting as a Project Intern at ISDB.

Caio holds a degree in Phonographic Production and an MBA in Cultural Management. He is also attending both Cultural Production Bachelor’s degree and Culture and Territory Master’s degree simultaneously at UFF. Solid experience in communications and content creation, working as a designer in different industries like cinema, politics and now, oil & gas.
